The majority of the time spent is on the development of the vehicle graphics design concept. The length of this depends directly on how much direction and input you provide as well as your response time. However, we can have concepts to you in just a couple of days. After the graphic stage is finalized, we enter production. This takes a few days. We print and let the media used dry. We then laminate followed by cutting. Then we move to the final stage, installation. This will take between 1 & 3 days depending on graphic size, vehicle type and, of course, scheduling.
Absolutely. The wrap is actually applied to the vehicle using heat and pressure-sensitive adhesives that can be reactivated and removed by our installers. The removal process is short and does not damage the vehicle.
Normally, a wrap can stay between 4 to 6 years on the vehicle depending on conditions, care and overall treatment. At Rodas Printing & Signs, we use the very best Avery and 3M products available in the industry. Each component is backed with a proven warrantee. Vinyls have 5 – 6 year manufacturer warrantees while our solvent inks have a range of 3 – 7 years. We also use lamination that acts as a protective film against many abrasive cleaning applications and protects the print from minor scratches and regular wear-and-tear.
We highly recommend NOT to pressure wash the vehicle after installation of the vinyl. Some pressure washers can potentially lift up the vinyl because of improper use of the water pressure. The wrap is an investment to your marketing and advertising strategy and thus it should be protected.
Hand washing is best. Avoid high pressure washes and be careful never to use an ice-scraper. Sweeping off windows with a soft broom and rear defroster will cause no damage to your window graphics.
Yes. You can wash it just like you did before it was wrapped, but it is not recommended that you use wax. We recommend brushless car washes.
Yes. All vehicles have to be free of dust, mud, pollen, and other agents that may slow down the installation process.
Installation normally takes between one and two days depending on how much coverage has to be applied. We do our best to work according to your schedule and minimize your downtime without your vehicle.
Absolutely! In fact, the creative design process is our strength at Rodas Printing & Signs. Our customers communicate their vision and messaging objectives and we take it from there, providing you with options to choose from. To streamline the process, customers supply us with their (high resolution) logos, photos, and other supporting images, and we then create the graphics in a format that best fits the vehicle. We can use existing (stock) photography if a customer does not have any they feel is appropriate for their vehicle wrap.
You sure can. We would conduct meetings over the phone and follow up with additional calls and emails. All images and mock-ups will be sent to you via PDF or on the client pages of our Website. For installation, we have an established network of certified installers across Tri state area.
No. The material used actually protects your paint-job from minor scratches. Unless there is previous damage or the car has been repainted, vehicle wraps protect paintwork against sun damage, minor abrasions and small stone chips. The vinyl can also be removed after a promotion, or vehicle turnover, leaving the original paintwork in the same condition it was before it was covered.
Every project has its own set of variables. Pricing is directly linked with coverage, vehicle style and types of vinyl used.
